Am Bathach  and Ciste Dhubh

A variety of circumstances, not least the forecast strong winds meant that Leanne and Jan were the only participants on this walk, putting the rest of us to shame!

Here is what Jan writes -

Leanne and Jan had an enjoyable, walk on Am Bathach  and Ciste Dhubh. 

The walk along the undulating ridge to the summit of Am Bathach gave us chance to assess the strength of the wind , snow conditions and enjoy the dramatic views with ever-changing light through fast moving clouds. 

We dropped down to the bealach a Choinich before acending Ciste Dhubh. The ridge to the summit was challenging with strong winds and snow underfoot. With a forecast of strengthening winds we descended quickly to the bealach.

We had a pleasant walk back to the start point - windblown and happy.
